COVID-19: Govt has decided to deduct 30% of their salary for 1 year, including PM, MPs, President

After the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that a decision has been taken to reduce the salary of MPs by 30 percent. In this, the salary of other cabinet ministers including Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be cut. These cuts will be for one full year.

Apart from MPs, the President, Vice President, and Governor will also take less salary. However, these cuts have been made at their own volition. Apart from this, the MP fund has been postponed for 2 years. This money will be used in the fight against Corona.

On the question of ending the lockdown, Union Minister Javadekar said that,

"No decision has been taken yet. For this, daily press conferences are given and information related to corona matters. At present, its cases are increasing worldwide. We are watching this matter every minute. We must win this battle. Information will be given to removing the lockdown when the time comes. ”

Let me tell you that there will be a meeting of the High Power Committee on the lockdown this evening. In which there will be a discussion about ending or increasing lockdown etc.

Javadekar said that the country is ready to deal with the crisis of Corona. We are working together with the states. People are also getting full support.
